While our roots are firmly planted in the red meat sector (born from the formation of AUS-MEAT in 1998), we realised that the broader agribusiness landscape needed the same rigorous standards. As the industry evolved, so did we. The AUS-QUAL brand was established by AUS-MEAT Limited to bring that world-class expertise to horticulture, poultry, food safety, and animal welfare.
Today, we operate as the dedicated agribusiness division of AUS-MEAT Limited (trading as AUS-QUAL), functioning as a non-profit, industry-owned body. Because we are owned by the industry, for the industry, our focus remains exactly where it should be (on the growth, safety, and reputation of your business).
